The Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund (AFWSF) is a tuition assistance program offering financial benefits to employees, dependents and "student" members of the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (HHGFAA). Named after distinguished founder and General Counsel Alan F. Wohlstetter, this scholarship fund exemplifies the dedication to excellence that he has shown in his over 40 years of service to the industry and the association.

The Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund is sponsored and supported by the YP-35 (Young Professionals 35 Years & Under) group within the HHGFAA. YP-35 understands the need to support the industry's youth and by lending support to younger members; it embraces this new generation of leaders and supports their endeavors for the future.

The first donation was made by Mrs. Joyce Wohlstetter in 2002 and the Fund has grown steadily since. The goal of the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Board is to award 5 scholarships of $4,000 per year. For questions concerning the AFW Scholarship Fund, please contact Heather Engel:
